A good shotstopper.decent bloke.but not in my opinion a great encourager or leader in the dressing room.
I pleased but not particularly happy regarding this news.

I'd like Marlon Harewood and CFC as striker coaches.

Re: GREENo to return

It's been on every programme on TalkSport today, which usually means that a journalist is pushing the story hard. Doesn't make it true, of course - but TalkSport, whatever you may think of them, does not invent it's own stories. It doesn't even investigate them, just awaits a nod from a journalist or so-called insider.

Re: GREENo to return

Could do worse, and lets be honest this Randolph chap is pretty untried at this level and reports have not been that great thus far, hopefully he gets better but if Adrian is unavailable would much rather Greeno was the second choice plus its competition for the spot between the sticks, currently only injury or suspension sees Adrian not playing

Re: Greeno to return

Green - not for me. Hope it falls over, assuming it had legs to begin with. Too old and too expensive.
As many have said, buy Bentley and let Sarfend keep him on a recall-if-needed basis. Thus if Adrian were injured would mean using Randolph/Spiegel for part of one game at worst.

another bad idea. adrian's superb so i can't see green wanting to sit on the bench every week

Re: Greeno to return

I doubt this will happen.
I expect the owners and club aren't quite as knee-jerk as the fans and will give Randolph a bit of time.
Greeno also refused a contract a couple of years back, doube he'll come back to sit on the bench.

Re: Greeno to return

Would be a great back up, but I'd be surprised if he'd want to give up guaranteed first team football at this stage of his career to sit on the bench.
